Oopbuy buys on your behalf, receives goods at a warehouse, provides inspection information and arranges an international parcel. Read the limits at each handover.
What is Oopbuy, plainly: a shopping agent that acts on your behalf. The chain is short, and the published detail sits at the joints rather than in the middle. It pays a Chinese seller for you, takes delivery, opens and checks the package, stores it, and later puts it in a parcel with whatever else is waiting. Five handovers, each with a rule of its own.
Undertakes, and declines
What it undertakes to do
- Buys from domestic sellers on your behalf across the directly searchable platforms, with a request form for anything else
- Checks inbound parcels for prohibited items and records goods for storage; the inspection notice describes exceptions for sealed items.
- Provides a standard set of inspection photographs free of charge
- Holds normal packages for 90 days from the received status
- Negotiates with the seller when a return or exchange is requested
What it says it will not do
- Does not take responsibility for quality or copyright problems arising from third-party platform sellers
- Does not guarantee that a listing showing stock can actually be bought, and says so directly
- Does not decide a return on the seller's behalf: the final result is stated as the seller's decision
- Does not carry counterfeit or infringing goods, and reserves the right to destroy them in the warehouse without shipment or refund
- Does not ship a long statutory list of restricted categories, with liquids and powders needing a question first
Both columns come off the same notices. The right-hand one is the half that rarely survives into a summary anywhere, which is most of the reason this page exists.
The authenticity position, which is unusually blunt
Counterfeit, shoddy and IP-infringing copycat goods. The Platform reserves the right to destroy such goods directly in-warehouse. Shipment and refunds will not be granted.

Neither shipped nor refunded, which is blunter than most operators put in writing. It also settles a question about this site: grading goods or naming production runs would sit directly against the policy the service is run under, so none of that appears here.
The prohibited-items check affects whether goods can be stored or shipped. Sealed-product exceptions and transport restrictions should be checked before purchase.

A service that publishes a company number, a scope and a window can be held to those three things. That is a low bar and it is also the first one to check.
How to judge an agent from its published pages
Service quality cannot be measured from outside, so this site does not try. What an operator writes down can be, because you can open it and read it, and each of the five questions below takes about a minute to answer.

- What happens when an item cannot be bought, and who is being timed
